How can football single handedly destroy itself? Uefa have found the way. Destroy every single domestic league so that it becomes utterly meaningless, by removing the best teams from each. Destroy the FA Cup, weaken the World Cup (is that why they're considering it) and dismantle the Champions League. What are we left with, a hideous mess. Chelsea playing Marseille and Valencia and Roma. Surely they really, nobody cares about the group stage in the Champions League it works because it's a knockout competition. Please Platini, don't try to fix football when it's not broken.
